WORK EXPERIENCES ...


I would like here to give you an insight about all my work experiences. I've been working in Marketing since I started working in 2003 and in Online Marketing for the last 4 years.

I worked in well known companies such as Google, Microsoft and Dome-O2 international where I had the opportunity to work in all the areas of online marketing and to get trainings and certifications in this particular area i.e. Google AdWords Professional and AdExcellence Profesional.

Microsoft

I worked in the headquarters of Microsoft in Dublin from January 2007 till November 2008.

My exact position was Marketing Strategist. My work was divided into three main categories:

Online Marketing:

My main duties where related to the planning, creation and reporting of online search and display marketing campaigns on MSN and Windows live Search for high spending customers. For this I had to work closely and in coordination with display teams and agencies.

Strategic Planning:

I was in charge of the creation and development of a strategic marketing plan for the French and UK markets, this involved dealing with different people from different departments: Business analysts, Finance, Trade marketing,etc. In order to follow up on the marketing plans I had to develop metrics in order to measure the growth and performance of the planned strategy and take the corrective action when needed.

Trade Marketing:

I was responsible for coordinating trade shows and specific marketing events. I Participated for example in the launch of Microsoft Analytics for the French market. I was also in charge for coordinating emailing shots and newsletters.

Google

Prior to that I worked at the headquarters of Google from September 2005 till January 2007 :

My exact position was Online Marketing Strategist. My work was divided into three main categories:

Online Marketing:

My main duties where related to the planning, creation and reporting of online search and display marketing campaigns on Google and Google's affiliate network for high spending customers. For this I had to work closely and in coordination with display teams, agencies and direct clients.
I also worked closely with the trade marketing team in order to create and coordinate acquisition and retention plan. It involved the creation of targeted newsletter and emailing.

CRM management:

For this I had to liaise with Customer support and business analysis teams in order to create customer satisfaction surveys, analayse them and present the results to my management. The next step was to propose some actions based on the survey results in order to increase the satisfaction rate of our clients.

Project management:

I was responsible for conducting ongoing competitive studies on the Arabic market. I was more precisely in charge of conducting studies in order to give strategic recommendations to extend support to new countries.

Dome Telecom

Prior to that I worked as a consultant for a Telecom company called Dome Telecom which deal with all the international calls of O2

Search Engine Marketing:

Creation, monitoring & refining of Search and Display Pay per Click campaigns for Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter.

Web 2.0:

Participation in forums, blogs and online communities in order to identify opinion setters and get a genuine feedback on the advertised products.

Website deployment:

1. Optimization of the website www.1call.ie for the organic search results on the 3 main search engines: Google, Yahoo! and MSN.
2. Adding of relevant content.
3. Implementing a link development strategy.

Centrele Des Salles

Product management:

1. Refining and extension of the range of services.
2. Creation and development of tailor-made events specifically targeted for the Lebanese market.
3. Setting up of the pricing policy.

Management:

1. Management of 3 salesmen and 2 webmasters
2. Organization and conduction of periodical team meetings
3. Bi-monthly one to one meeting
